My photography journey starts in 2013 while spending a few months in Nairobi, Kenya. I was amazed at how my images impacted people and decided to major in photojournalism at Penn State. A year later, I officially started Hannah Leigh Photography during my senior year of college. I moved my business to Baltimore, MD for a few years and found my focus in wedding photography. In 2020 I moved to San Francisco, where I still live and photograph couples today.

Being a photographer is a true privilege. I’ve met some of the most incredible people, traveled to some amazing places and made life long friends. I love being able to photograph weddings because it allows couples to be present and experience their wedding day without worrying about documenting it. My goal is always to capture the moment so you can be in it.

When I’m not photographing couples I might be rock climbing, training for another ultra, teaching fitness classes or binge watching a new show. I love being outside, pushing my own physical limits and traveling the world.
